Brussels, 15 October 2026. The European project CyberHealthY, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, will participate tomorrow, 16 October, in “Building Europe’s Future Skills”, an Erasmus Days 2026 event taking place at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) in Brussels.
The project will highlight the importance of digital well-being, healthier online habits and responsible participation in digital environments, focusing on the role of education and youth work in helping young people navigate an increasingly connected world.
CyberHealthY: promoting healthier and safer digital environments
CyberHealthY empowers young people and youth workers to navigate digital environments in a healthier, safer and more responsible way. The project raises awareness of the challenges associated with digital participation and promotes digital well-being, responsible online behaviour and the informed use of technology.
Through European cooperation, CyberHealthY strengthens the capacity of youth workers to support young people in managing their digital lives, developing positive online habits and building the skills needed to engage confidently and responsibly with digital technologies.
European Commission, Volonteurope and All Digital to participate in the digital skills session
The session “Digital skills for a changing Europe” will begin at 10:00 with an intervention by Dana Verbal, Team Leader for Digital Skills at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC), who will introduce the importance of digital skills development for Europe's digital transformation.
The CyberHealthY presentation will take place from 10:30 to 10:50, featuring Constantin Dedu, Vice President of Volonteurope and CyberHealthY Project Leader, who will participate online, and Theresa Elhage, Communications and Advocacy Manager at All Digital.
Their interventions will provide an opportunity to discuss the role of digital education, youth work and European cooperation in promoting digital well-being and responsible participation in online environments.
European cooperation for digital well-being
CyberHealthY contributes to the objectives of Erasmus+ by fostering educational innovation, strengthening cooperation between European organisations and promoting digital competences and well-being among young people and youth workers.
Its participation in Erasmus Days 2026 provides an opportunity to showcase the project's approach to digital well-being and highlight the role of youth work in creating healthier, safer and more inclusive digital environments.
